Your videos
Videos you open are read by your browser, decoded by its built-in decoder or by ffmpeg.wasm running in the page, and encoded into a GIF or WebP in memory. They are not uploaded, stored or seen by us. Closing the tab discards them.
Caption helper (optional)
If you click Suggest captions, the short description and tone you typed are sent to our server and passed to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to generate suggestions. The video is never sent. We don't store the text; our hosting provider may keep brief technical logs for abuse prevention.
Saved settings
Your preferred frame rate, width, colours, dithering, WebP quality, caption size and watermark are saved in your browser's localStorage so they're ready next time. They stay on your device.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building personal profiles.
